ATOS Scanning Technicians and Managers

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ATOS Scanning Technicians  to  run and oversee our operations and lead our team towards achieving excellence in performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 3D Scanning with Scan box using Zeiss inspection Software.

Primary Objective:

Utilize automated & manual 3D scanning hardware and 3D inspection software for reverse engineering, fingerprinting & full inspection applications. You will be measuring sheet metal – stamping/hydroformed parts & tools. Laser-cutting buyoffs – feature & edge profile inspection. Welded parts & assemblies. The parts range in the aerospace, automotive, military, medical, heavy machinery, and other industries.

Specific Responsibilities Included but not limited to the following:

· Perform all quality/metrology activities onsite at UHI and offsite as required.

· 3D scan, inspect & export/report all quality/metrology requests assigned and router time.

· Communicate & cooperate with manufacturing on inspection & RE results.

· Perform proper maintenance of scanning equipment as required.

· Knowledge and application of 5S practices & procedures. (FOD – Foreign Object Debris)

· Lifting & loading of the measurement equipment required. (~50lbs)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Skills creating inspection templates with reports from customer provided prints & CAD models utilizing ZEISS Inspect software.
• Create automated scanning programs utilizing ZEISS VMR software and ScanBox automation.
•  Validate, Optimize & Run automated program paths with the ZEISS ScanBox. (8160 & 6235)
• Knowledge and or experience with 3D inspection software preferred (i.e. ZEISS Inspect, Polyworks, Verisurf, etc.)
• CAD software preferred (i.e. Catia, Solidworks, Unigraphics, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Experience with automated equipment preferred (i.e. FANUC, ZEISS VMR)
• Reverse Engineering software experience preferred (i.e. DesignX, TEBIS, Verisurf, etc.)
